ok wutsup.

so, My buddy has a 2001 Integra Type-R.

he was driving to work and the car died on him.. he started it back up drove it and died again... then the car wouldnt start.

shitty thing is the car is in WV and i am in Maryland about 3 hours away...

the Code was that the ELD was bad..

so just to try to get the car back up to MD, i gave him my ELD out of my GSR fuse box and he replaced it..

Upon replacing the ELD, he noticed that the Wire that plugs into the ELD was not there.. i find this odd because the car ran strong as hell for 4-5 months and with no problems....

He says that it looks like tehre is no sign of a single plug that was ever even there....

so what im asking is,

1. Do Type-R's have a ELD plug in the fuse box like GSRs do?
2. Should he replace the WHOLE fuse box with a New Type-R one?

Also, AFter installing my ELD, and not plugging in the back of it like a GSR fusebox, He started the car and it ran but idled up and down as if the IACV was bad..

The engine light immediatly appeared, and he ran the codes and it was for the ECM....

NOW, the ECM was replaced shortly before being sold to my friend......

Could the Problem be the ECM and not the ELD? And why is there no ELD plug in the fuse box? he looked inside and around the wiring and fuse box and he claims that nothing looks tampered with. the Old ELD from the Type-R he says also looks like nothing was EVER plugged in and looks super clean and no marks on it.

what could be the case?
