Removing Rubber Roof Trim.
Does anyone know how to remove the rubber roof trim? I'm trying to repaint all my rubber trims on my car and noticed that the Roof trim needs to be touched up.

Re: Removing Rubber Roof Trim.
I looked at the parts list online and there seems to be two brackets holding the trim in place. I'm just asking, so I don't damage the brackets upon removal.
thanks,

Re: Removing Rubber Roof Trim.
Instead of painting them on my car I wet sanded them back to the fresh smooth flat black surface. To remove them use a soft plastic tool of some kind and actually pull them up from the middle of the roof and then just un-hook them on each side.

Push the rear of the molding forward to release the rear bracket, lift the rear, pull the molding back to release the front bracket and remove. It takes about 2 seconds and no tools are required.
