Rage header install
I just installed my rage header yesterday on my R.
I had alot of trouble with the fitment. the holes on the flanges had to be notched in order for it to line up with the head so the bolts would go in without stripping them.
Then I noticed that the header was resting up against the block. I had to notch some of the webbing on my block in order to have some clearance.
I'm 100% sure that the piece is assembled properly, but I seem to have an exhaust leak coming from the slip fit. Will this affect performance at all?
My car sounds like a Subaru Impreza.
Has anyone else with this header have the same issues?
I'm really frustrated after spending so much time money and effort, and getting such a crap result.
Any positive feedback would be appreciated.

x2 Seems like it is having some serious issues. I wonder if Brad had any similar issues.

Re: Rage header install (Amused)
I had no problems fitting mine. The slip joint was an EXTREMELY tight fit and the springs were a pain in the *** to get on, but that should mean a good, tight fit. I also have all bolts for the exhaust manifold on my head "studded." This made it very easy to get on since all bolts were studs. I'm also running a donut gasket from a 5.3L Chevy V8 truck (measured up to be ok) and I've got it connected to a Hytech Twin Loop exhaust. It is just as quiet as stock, I love it. I have not noticed an exhaust leak as of yet. The next time my ITR ventures out in the daylight I'll try to take some pics of the fitment.

My Hytech header does the same thing with an exhaust leak coming from the slip fit.

I had a similar issue with my Hytech...then I noticed the bolts holding the two sections of the header were missing. I replaced them, double nutted with locktite and the problem was fixed.
