problem with parts I ordered from acurapartswarehouse.com
I ordered some parts from acurapartswarehouse.com, first time I've ordered from them and ran into an issue.
The water pump and tensioner are not in bags, but have ACURA parts tags attached to them with the part numbers hand written. It looks like they are buying these in bulk and relabeling them as "OEM".
I have never seen an acura/honda part not come with an oem bag or box with the standard honda part # sticker attached. I just want to make sure that dealers didn't change their practice of having the parts come in a bag. I've ordered a lot of parts from various dealers and have never run into this issue. I am 99% sure I am getting screwed here, just need to make sure before I return these to acurapartswarehouse.com
I am rather upset

They may be refurbished parts. Make sure there are no fine prints or terms and conditions that said the parts they sell MAY be refurbished.

I used to work in the parts dept. Sometimes when dealers order multiple quantitys of the same part they got thrown in one bag. therefore each one will not be individually wrapped and probably why they tagged them.

The gasket should also be attached to the water pump also, doesn't look oem in my opinion, even other companies make replica parts and still make and use sealed bags and Honda part number labels

NPW is an OEM part, this company make some parts for Honda atleast the pump is Made in Japan that's mean it has the same quality like any other Honda parts, but you are right the parts should to come with the original package, you will return the parts to the dealer, they receive them look for Honda boxes put them into it and send it to you again.
