Problem Code 63
I have a 4 door GSR with a type-r motor and I recently got this engine code. Code 53 or 63 Primary oxygen sensor and/or secondary oxygen sensor. My question is, is the GSR and Type-R O2 sensors the same? I keep getting code 63 and I'm running the GSR O2 sensor. I'm dumb and I'm wondering if this could probally be the problem. Also where is the secondary Oxygen sensor located or do I even have one?

the oxygen sensors for a type R and a GSR might be different but i am not quite quite sure. as far as "where is the secondary o2 sensor located" that is going to be at the end of your cat. conv. (it depends what year your GSR is, b/c your car might be obd-1)

My car is a 96 and it is OBD2. Does anyone else know if there is a difference between the two O2 sensors or where the secondary O2 sensor is located?
