Take carpet out and use Simple Green with garden hose. Hang dry out of direct sun.

wont work well in fabric/oil

i'd suggest getting something along the lines of scrubbing it well with detergent, then using bug/tar remover and follow up with fabreeze

I actually have to agree.. I have spilled oil due to a loose cap on a quart in my 2000 ITR. Simple green, worked very well. I also used shout stick and did the final rince with a pressure washer on a lower pressure setting.

Wait, you mean some people clean oil off of their interiors? That's why the carpet is black! Come on!

-Chris, likes waking up to the smell of synthetic goodness in the morning

On a serious note, you might try Woolite, which might be too delicate for the job, but shouldn't hurt anything.

Is there any place on your car that doesn't spew, sputter, consume or absorb petroleum products?

I'm not really awake until my 2nd diet coke and 3rd cigarette, both of which occur about halfway into my my commute.
