oil spill clean UP inside car?
well fellas i had my oil jug on the floor behind the drivers seat and now it`s all over the #$@&ing carpet, how do i clean? i cleaned most off it up with oil spill mats from my boys shop. thanks

wont work well in fabric/oil
i'd suggest getting something along the lines of scrubbing it well with detergent, then using bug/tar remover and follow up with fabreeze

You doubt my cleaning skills?
I did the same thing last year to my pass mat, I spray/soaked it down with simple green then hoses it off, I could not tell 3/4 qt wass there.

I actually have to agree.. I have spilled oil due to a loose cap on a quart in my 2000 ITR. Simple green, worked very well. I also used shout stick and did the final rince with a pressure washer on a lower pressure setting.

Wait, you mean some people clean oil off of their interiors? That's why the carpet is black! Come on!

On a serious note, you might try Woolite, which might be too delicate for the job, but shouldn't hurt anything.
