i remember someone on this board said jasma is just a emission test in japan.

JASMA=日本 自動車 スポーツ マフラー 協会
The Japan Automotive Sports Muffler Association
This Association is to regulate After market Muffler's NOISE mainly. It has little or nothing to do with emmissions. This is according to their website under What is JASMA

That is pretty funny! I remember some time ago I had posted a link to a "JASMA" header on ebay, they were trying to say "JASMA is made by Mugen!"
LOL what a bunch of idiots.

Dear God.
Do a little searching on the internet, will you???
First off, it is Fujitsubo. There have only been maybe 15 threads with the company name in the title.
Second, this is what you get when you get an exhaust or header that complies with JASMA's standards/rules/regulations:
Now THAT is JDM. I carry it in my wallet at all times in case someone wants an example of what real JDM bling is.

LOL - It appears that it's also useful if someone wants an example of what real Japanese > English translation is.

Re: mugen? jasma? (SergEK)
Some people ASSUME that JASMA was a company making stuff for Mugen and others cause the seal is on various brands in Japan and SOME only had the JASMA seal on it so that is probably where people got the WEIRD Idea.
And further more like someone pointed out earlier. WHO would ever think JASMA is an Acronym for an agency in JAPAN??? I thought it was a Strange Japanese name cause I know Japanese language and there are no single consonants except N in the middle of a word in Japanese. So it would seem that it wasn't a real word (JASUMA) SO I asked one of my friends and I was told the deal.
