At last, 00-1149 is mine! Out with the old and in with the new.
Ever since I got into cars I told myself I would own an Integra type R at some point and that point has finally come. Just picked up a 00 phoenix yellow USDM itr but I'm definitely not new to Honda's as I've built a couple of EG hatchbacks in the past. I also owned two integra's in the past, a 97 LS (My first car) and a 95 GS-R. This GSR was my pride and joy I had so many plans for it until it was stolen from me and left me crushed. After that car I went on to building two EG hatchbacks but with still having that taste in my mouth, I had to build an integra again. So the opportunity came up where I was able to afford an ITR, so I felt froggy and leaped! This car came from Arkansas to California and I acquired it this past weekend on 01/23/16. So this will serve as a kind of build thread where I can keep a collection of pics and progress on the car. Now on to pictures!
My first EG build that was featured in Hondatuning magazine in 09
My second build that was featured in Import tuner magazine and Banzai magazine
And now 00-1149, day I picked heR up.
And yesterday I started taking compatible parts off my EG and installing on the ITR
15x7.5 +25 Volk TE37's went on first and took a few pics in the rain.
Installed my Spoon Sports gen. 2 steering wheel with NRG hub
Installed my RECARO wildcats with Bride low rails.
Also threw on my JDM ITR floor mats since it didn't come with any.
Put on my ITRX Yellow stitch shift boot and NSIDIUS Industries Spherical ****
And that's it for now, I'll be pulling off some more parts off my EG then selling the EG as a shell. I'll update when I can! Stay tuned.....

Curious...but you've already had a couple of modded civics. Why mod the crap out of the ITR so soon?

Congrats, car looks great! I'll keep an eye out for you. Make sure Bitanga's Treasure Island meetup in the summer is on your calendar.

Again I've always wanted to BUILD an ITR, meaning as to putting together an ITR with what I picture in my head and for the time, stock is not what im going for (but I will be keeping every OE piece in case). I'm the type that doesn't leave stuff alone and enjoys tearing apart and putting back together. She will see track days and car meets/shows.

Thanks guys!
I also picked up a Gen. 1 Mugen wing and sourced the emblems to go with it. I'll get some pics up soon

This was Tommy's car right? I'm still shocked that he sold it.. He was so excited when he got it, and made everyone jealous that his girl bought it for his birthday. He definitely didn't have it very long either. Anyway, nice pickup! Did you fly out and drive her back? Probably a pretty epic ride if you did.

Yup Tommy's old car! I think it was because he had his mind set on the current car he just picked up! (Freaking R32 GTR lucky guy) I actually just did videos and tons of pics when deciding on buying haha. I guess that's always a gamble but luckily this car was just about how he explained it. Had the car shipped over (and that was the worst headache of this whole transaction)
And just to note, if anyone is gonna ship a car, STAY AWAY FROM A COMPANY CALLED DEPENDABLE AUTO SHIPPERS!

I will be putting my K swap into this eventually and giving it a full respray the original color. After that just track it from time to time and enjoy it!
More updates!
Got the rear 5 lug swap done! She's back and rolling.
Main reason why I swapped the rears was because I had the spherical bearings on this setup
And some pics of it sitting. Still have to adjust suspension a bit
