ITR Running Rich HELP! No Codes, Oxygen Sensor? Analize Emmision Test Results.
Hey Guys,
Im just about to go on a road trip out to BC, and My 100% stock ITR is running rich. I took it to get Emission Tested and here are the Results:
40km test:
HC ppm- limit=68
Reading=316
FAIL
CO% Limit= 0.38
Reading=6.32
FAIL
NO ppm- limit =0526
Reading= 91
PASS
Curb Idle Test:
HC ppm- limit=150
Reading=159
FAIL
CO% Limit= 0.7
Reading=0.11
PASS
NO ppm = NA
Im wondering if I need to replace my 02 sensors. They have both been in there since i bought the car. (60,000km+). Do I need to replace both sensors?
I replaced the cat last year, the car has fresh oil, plugs and cap and rotor. The air intake is stock and the filter is clean.
I Think its the oxygen sensor but the car has no codes. Please let me know what you guys think and if i need to replace both sensors or just 1.

Re: (Slimmonkey559)
should have been the primary because the secondary only reports what the catalyst is doing. The primary O2 is responsible for gauging the fueling augmentation needed.
