1995 and older = obd1
1996 and newer = obd2
in japan, 1995 itr was obd1 but that was it. all others are obd2. all us models are obd2

From what ive read on this board the best thing for you to do is get that one remapped or somthing..alot of R owners get rid of theirs for the OBD1 ECU's please feel free to correct me if im wrong!

i was trying to avoid getting it remapped......i thought that i could plug in the itr for a little extra power.....i was planing on using the itr valve train with the ctr cams
