Re: How can I know if my valve(s) is bent? (8400 rpm)
Compression Test, it should be between 210-250 each cylinder........anything less than 210 would draw your conclusion.....

Is your idle rough? Does the car shake at idle? Do rpm's drop to 600? Are you getting CEL codes 71-74(misfires)
I just went through having 8 exhaust valves changes , so that's what I experienced.
Get a compression test done, you'll find out.

Re: How can I know if my valve(s) is bent? (Top Fuel ITR)
anything a little less than 210 is okay as long as there is no more than 20 psi between the highest number cylinder. If you are a little off, have your valves adjusted if need be, more times than not it will bring up your levels. But if your valves are bent youd be stalling and idle would be rough and car would lose alot of performance, If my spelling or thoughts dont make any sense, its okay im 2 hienekins in the whole already.

If you bent valve(s) you will here a tick coming from the engine/valve cover. Do a compression/Leak down test and that will tell you more.

ill look for the bolt you're missing for the stock air box, ill give it to you, put it on, give your car to your dad, take that thing into Sierra Acura, and they'll take care of it under warranty. Dont stress about it too much. Remember Elvis?? OG PY ITR in Glendale?? well he actually threw a rod out of his block going from 5th to 2nd, a lot worse than just bending valves in my opinion, he towed it to Sierra Acura and they fixed it for him under warranty. It took them a long *** time, but they fixed it.

no, you have to get a compression tester. Remove the spark plugs and the fuel injection fuse under the hood (15Amp fuse). THe compression tester plugs into where the spark plugs would go. Crank the engine 7-8 times.
