Help identifying air filter from JDM ITR intake box
I bought a JDM ITR intake set which includes the arm, box and filter. Can someone help me in identifying what kind of filter this is? It looks very similar to the Spoon foam air cleaner but its red without the nose tip that snugs into airbox
The filter is pretty old. When I removed it there was red debris in the air box. The filter also sheds a bit when I brush my hand against it so I'm kind of weary of using it.
Thanks all.

Not sure about the brand.. but junk it if its coning apart.
Buy a ct engineering filter, its foam and has a velocity stack, better buy compared to spoon

Ct engineering air filters are made by Uni. They also have a cleaning/re oiling kit for them, as does k&n.

There's absolutely no way I'd use that filter. All foam filters, over time, break down and need to be thrown away.

Looks like a monster sport. I remember one like this from Jay Smiths leguna seca integra. Still is my all time favorite build.

All foam filters will degrade over time. You'll be fine for probably 5 years or more, but don't consider it a "lifetime" filter by any means. If you don't drive a lot or in dusty conditions, get the K&N as it will last a lot longer. I don't use K&N's in my daily, but for my weekend cars that's all I run.
