Fluids; antifreeze and transmission
I was reading my owners manual, and for antifreeze/coolant it says to get one that is for aluminum engines, and is silicate free. I went to Autozone and none of the available products said anything about aluminum or silicates...
Is prestone safe to use?
For transmission fluid, it says use Honda MTF. Last time I went to my local Acura dealer and asked for Honda MTF they told me to use 10w30 motor oil. I went to a Honda dealership and got the Honda MTF. What is the difference? Is there something special about Honda MTF? Is there something to be done/added for the lsd?
Thanks!
