exedy clutch squeaking problem
Ok I have the exedy organic faced clutch and every time I start off and it engages I here a squeak. This happens when engaging 1st and reverse. I'm not sure about any other gear cuz my engine and exhaust drowns out the noise. Has anyone else experienced this problem????

Re: exedy clutch squeaking problem (hooptie157)
From what I have learned is that the springs in the sprung hub come loose and squeak...
It could cause a problem but mine has been squeaking since the week after the install... So beware and if you could afford to replace go for it.

Mine didn't squek, but it had a very slight grinding noise. I had to adjust the push rod on the back of the clutch pedal so the release bearing wouldn't travel so far.

This is what the tech at Honda did when I was working there to cure the squeaking clutch.
While I was in the seat, he would be under the car and I am assuming the clutch slave cylinder, he would spray lithium grease in there, tell me to push the clutch pedal till it stops squeaking.
