Unfortunately I no longer have the room or space for my pride and joy, my 1998 Acura Integra Type R. The Vehicle has a stolen recovery title. It has never been in any accidents and has all original factory paint. I purchased the shell in 2004 and fully rebuilt it from the ground up. The chassis has 48,000 original miles on it.
The vehicle was featured in TPR Magazine in April 2006. Here is the link of the build with the car in different stages

FS: My 1998 Integra Type R #606 Clean title
History: Bought from orginal owner about 2.5 months ago. Very clean car, every oil change since day one is documented, orginal window sticker included.
Bads: Car has 72,7xx miles on it currently, doesn't show its age at all. has 2 noticeable spots of touch up paint, which may be fixed if the car isn't sold in about 1-2 weeks. Front lip has 3-4 scuffs, may replace with new oem soon. Has been ABSOLUTELY stock its whole life minus a full Alpine soundsystem.
EDIT- just put Falken Azenis 205/50/15's on
Since in my possession I have had Desmon(wrx killer sti eater) install a gps Clifford alarm.
Mods: jdm shiftboot, vision shiftknob, mugen rear view mirror cover and optional roof console. New sidestickers
Price: 16,500 located in Phoenix, AZ. I have more pics lmk if you want them.
BTW, Many seem to be turned off by the price I am asking. You must consider the alarm it is equipped with and its huge benefits/advantages over 99 percent of the other cars out there for sale. The first investment I put into this car, within ONE week of buying it I sunk 1600 dollars into the alarm. If you are not aware of its features and what is involved to install it please search here: https://honda-tech.com/zero...56045
and read here http://www.hondamarketplace.co...55229
Lastly, if you are TRULY in the market for a VIRGIN, ORIGINAL, CLEAN TITLE Acura Integra Type R, this IS the one. Again, every oil change is documented at mileage and type of oil used. The original window sticker is included and the car has VERY minimal flaws.
I think I have said all I can about this car for the time being. Before PM'ing me, remember all that I have said above and take into consideration, this IS what you will want if you're looking to preserve and own a piece of Honda history. This car is a legend and has set the benchmark for all "tuner" cars of today, as cheesy as that sounds, its the truth.
that is all, thanks.

Adam: long time man, I've seen you around a few times but you haven't noticed the S2K (never driven the integra when I see you). Nate saw you as well, he wasn't driving his 97R either at the time.

Congrats on the kid, and the wife?

Price reduced to $17k

Guy's, I'm workable on the price. I just didn't know where to start, so I put 20k on there. I owe money to the bank on this, so I can't get crazy, but that price is OBO.

Dammit! I soooo don't want to sell this. This is my dream car, and I'm afraid that I'll

never be able to get another one this clean. But, I can't keep her safe anymore, so I'm just

better off letting her go to a new home.

Please, if you have ANY questions, or need pictures of anything, let me know. I'll get

specific pics if anyone needs. I realize it's a shot in the dark, listing this up on here,

but I'm also putting it up on Honda-Tech, etc. I just figured, that since I'm local to KC

right now, somone wouldn't have to go far to get this car.

2001 Acura Integra Type R

Phoenix Yellow
Clean title, never wrecked or stolen
58,000 miles
1.8 DOHC VTEC
5 speed close ratio LSD
Ice cold A/C
PWR steering
(Type R was NOT offered with cruise control)
OEM metal Honda JDM front end
OEM HID headlights
OEM JDM fog light switch (rare)
OEM JDM parking pole (SUPER rare)
OEM JDM 16" Championship White wheels
OEM JDM Honda badging (no Acura symbols on car anywhere, but on the radio)

Interior is all type R. Faux carbon fiber heater vents and shift console. Arm rest has

original serial number badge still intact. Rear seats are OEM black suede with red

stitching. Front seats are JDM red Recaro SRD's (OEM) with black stitch. (Depending on sale

price, Spoon carbon/kevlar buckets or Recaros will go with the car, or both - also, Takata

harnesses) '98 Spec Checkered floor mats (rare) All factory tie bars are in place. Steering

wheel is authentic Spoon replacement with quick release hub and lock (stock steering wheel

comes with car). Factory ITR CD player with aftermarket speakers (sounds good, plays burned

CD's)

Suspension is Koni adjustable struts and Eibach sportline springs. Car rides very smooth,

and handles like no other. The struts can be adjusted for stiffness.

Engine is not the original engine. Instead, it is a Spoon Crate motor. This motor isn't

built to make crazy horsepower, instead, Spoon takes brand new long blocks from Honda and

re-works them for tighter tolerances and balance. This makes the engine more sturdy and able

to take high RPM's for a longer period of time. This is still an ITR engine. There are Spoon

Cams in the head. The intake and exhaust are stock Honda. There is a Hytech header. (this is

a very HARD to get header, and costs $1300 new). There is an oversized Skunk2 throttle body

on the intake manifold.

The tranny is the JDM counterpart tranny from the CTR. It has a 4.7 Final drive. This is

what Spoon uses in their circuit racing cars. This isn't setup for drag racing, but is very

effective when stirring through the gears. There are 3 different ECU's, and 2 jumper

harnesses. The stock original ITR ecu (OBD2-b) which plugs right in, the modified Spoon ECU

(OBD2-a) uses a jumper harness, and the Chrome chipped and tuned P28 (OBD-1) that uses the

other jumper harness. With the Chrome tune, this setup made 189whp. This car pulls VERY

hard. Playing around with an exhuast, we got 209whp out of it.... so as you can see, the

exhaust is hurting this setup. This engine has an unconfirmed mileage to it, I'm in the

process of getting paperwork from Inline4 to confirm engine legitimacy. The last owner who

installed the setup, claimed it had 11k miles on it, so if that is the case, it has 14k on

it now. I will have all the paperwork for the buyer.

Car has top of the line Clifford alarm (stealth installed) details will ONLY be given to

buyer. 2 alarm remotes.

Car has been sold in Arizona, owned in Florida and owned in Oregon. It's NEVER seen a harsh

Kansas style winter. Absolutely NO rust. The underside of the car is clean. It's been garage

kept always. (the reason I'm selling it, is because I am moving to a place with no garage

)

And now the bad:

I don't have the original stock front seats. A couple of the wheels have minor non-noticable

scratches in the paint (buying used wheels from Japan, you don't know what you'll get). The

lip on the car has a small scratch on the passenger side. There is a dime sized ding in the

area next to the hatch. There is another small ding on the passenger side "C" pillar. THere

is a wrinkle in the passenger fender where somone leaned up against the car. There is a

scratch/paint chip on the passenger side above the "Type R" sticker. Also, a scratch/paint

chip on the roof. All scratches have been filled in with touch-up paint (I won't lie, the

paint isn't 100% matched). The wing and mirrors were taken to a body shop to have re-painted

for chips (by previous owner) and the shop sprayed them with NSX yellow. 'DOH! The paint

matches perfect, but it has a pearl in it, so in the right light, at the right angle, you

can see little sparkles. I give the paint a 7 out of 10, and the body a 9 out of 10. The

pictures are all recent, and the car is EXACTLY the way it appears. You can see that the

dings aren't noticable, however, I wouldn't feel right not being 100% honest about the

condition of the car. The car is NOT flawless. But you can see from the pictures, that it

isn't in dire need of anything. The shop that did the front end conversion, didn't wire up

the headlights right. The low beams (HID) work fine, the high beams work fine. The fog

lights aren't wired to the switch, and instead turn on with the parking lights. LOL, the

parking lights themselves, aren't wired up. Neither are the front turn signals nor the

fender signals. I've ordered up the proper harnesses from Password JDM, and this should all

be worked out soon. The headlights and stuff work flawlessly, it's just that the shop didn't

know which blinkers were supposed to blink, and what was parking lights, etc.

I'm a bit flexible on the price, that is why I'm going to start it at $20,000. I still owe

money on this car, so I can't give it away. The car DOES NOT have a blue book value, so some

banks have issues with loaning money on it. However, most banks account for this, and will

loan money based on the market value. So 20k is just right. Again, I'm open to offers.
