cant shift into 1st or 2nd while rolling
Last week all of a sudden i felt it was hard shifting into first gear while i was trying to get in my drive way.
So i can only shift into 1st gear when i come to a complete stop.
It was also hard to get out of reserse gear. But it got better after fluid change.
So far i bleed the clutch fluid and tranny fluid. Clutch fluid was dirty.
Once car gets going up shifting is normal. No grinds.. nice and smooth shifting.
Clutch doesnt slip or anything.
Any similar experience?
Please help
I dont want to remove the tranny if unnecessary
Thanks

Well, I was never able to put it into 1st gear smoothly when the car is rolling, I think thats a safety mechanicsm. Now for you not being able to get it into 2nd shows that there is definitely a problem going on.

first you should never try and put the car into first while moving, first gear doesnt have a sycro, you need to be at a complete stop to safely put the car into first
it sounds like youv been forcing it into first while still moving, while it may not have made a grinding noise when doing it, doesnt mean you werent hurting things
do the easy things first, inspect the slave and master cylinders
then pull the trans and inspect theclutch and flywheel
then if you still find nothing, crack the trans case and inspect the sycros etc
