Default Burnt Exhaust Valves?

Awhile ago, I heard someone saying running open header would lead to burnt exhaust valves? Is this true? Because I always uncork my exhaust at the track.

Not burnt exhaust valves... Possibly bent exhaust valves though!

you mean running it with no exhaust?that would be fine..np there but you'll lose tq gain a bit hp..
