Approx HP & Torque B18C5...
This is my very 1st post and I'd like to start off...Hiya guys I've been paying close attention to A LOT of ur post for 4 yrs or so now. Getting a excellent backround in Honda Tuning, I finally have the chance to own a Type-R and nothing comes close IMO. The best FWD car EVER! Now its time for me to come out of the shadows and get in the mix w/my exp that I have and gain more exp from the help of Honda Tech and the ppl that blog/post excellent info. I've owned two other honda's 94 RS DC2 (Sold) & a 95 Del Sol Si (RIP, hit by a drunk driver Jan 09') I'll try the best I can to be of any help now & in the future. My question is what range of hp & torque would I be looking @ with JUST new internals in a B18C5 @ 1st?
The following list:
Buddy Club Stage III Camshafts, Buddy Club Race Spec Head Gasket, Buddy Club P1 Cam Gears, Buddy Club Dual Valves Springs, Buddy Club Titanium Retainers, Buddy Club P1 Valves, JDM ITR Pistons w/rings & or JDM CTR Pistons w/rings, Hondata S300 ECU, VTEC to engae @ 5,000 RPM, Spoon Racing 3 puck clutch or stage 2 clutch I need to be able to hold power all the way to an 9,500 RPM. If I'm forgetting anything, your wisdom and view points will be considered lol!
Proper tuning plays a vital role, later I would get an intake, spoon's new throttle body for the b-series engine, headers, 2.5 cat, & exhast. Thank you for you help and time. Hmmmm would it be a better choice if I went w/internals 1st then bolt ons, or the other way around?
