Wiper motor

Wiper motor
Out of the damn blue, my windshield wiper stopped working. Just one of them though. The left one works fine, but the right one damn near stays still for some reason. And one thing I noticed is that when I was goin' about 160 K/h the right wiper just moved up, as if there was no resistance to it at all. Can anybody shed any light on what this might be, and how I could fix it?

The connecting arm may have just fell off.
Your wiper motor only moves the driver side on. There is a bracket that connects the left to the right.

well why dont you look at it anyways? even if it works the opposite way the problem will still remain the same. check it out and come back

It doesn't matter where you steer from. The fact is that your car only has one wiper motor. It connects to one wiper. There is a bracket that then connects the two wipers. I would check to make sure that bracket is still there

Ok.. Try taking off the wiper arm nut and also take off the wiper arm.
Turn on your wipers and see if the pin rotates (the part that you took the nut off of).
If it turns when the wipers are on, pinch it with your fingers and see if it stops with little pressure. If it does, then something else is probably loose. Take off the cowl and look at all the connections.
If it doesn't turn when your wipers are on, then you'll have to take off both wiper blades and take off the winshield cowl and take a look - something may have come loose like someone said. Just be careful taking out the clips and extra careful removing the cowl. The ends may break if you aren't careful.
