WHY INTEGRA GSR'S GETTING EXPENSIVE?

Re: WHY INTEGRA GSR'S GETTING EXPENSIVE?
Used car market went up as less people are unable to afford new cars. It's not just the GSR's, it's a lot of cars. However, the GSR is a highly sought after car. If one goes for $1k more than others, then the others go for more. Everything is worth what someone is willing to pay for it. So you find someone not into the "GSR" but wants a car that gets decent MPG, they pay top dollar for it. Where as us, as enthusiasts know, a '94GSR with 175k miles on it going for $5500 isn't going to sell very quickly, or at all. I got my very mint '01 GSR (89k miles) for what 150k+ 94-98 GSR's are going for. Just have to find the right deal.

Pretty simple, supply and demand, like anything, price is directly dependent on what buyers are prepared to pay.
As supplies go down, [not made anymore] and demand goes up, [used cars in general] the price will go up.
As mentioned, there are still deals out there. 94

there also seems to be a growing amount of idiots that when trying to sell their cars take the highest KBB value, then add like a grand, then go through their list of "mods" and other routine maintenance and tally all that **** up... and boom, you've got a 97 GSR on craigslist for 8 thousand dollars FIRM that probably still needs some kind of work for it to be 100%.
Just my observations gathered during my search last year. Lucked out after about 6 months of nonsense and stumbled upon a guy that was selling his car with realistic expectations, on a VW forum no less.
