Wheel Stud Problems!?!?
Ok so today i went out to the garage and began the process of removing my tranny.
well sure enough i get as far as removing my wheels and then i stripped out one of my studs so now the lug nut wont lossen and when i put a socket on the lug it just spins the lug nut and the stud inside the spidle.
if anyone has any advice on how to get my wheel stud out it would be much appreciated
THANX
Dave

Does the stud spin easily, or is it tight. Also, is there any space in between the lug, and the rim. A high powered impact wrench might be able to zap it off. You might be able to lower the car down w/ the other lug nuts removed to put pressure on the stripped stud, and back the nut off.
