vibration while accelerating from 20-25 mph. ???
i have a vibration while i accelerate. it happens when i hit 20mph and ends around 25 mph. the car doesn't vibrate at any other speeds. car was aligned and that didnt help. tires balanced and didnt help. tires rotated and didnt help. any ideas what the cause could be?
vibration shakes the steering wheel and you can feel the car shake a little.
thanks

What kind of car do you have? Is it possibly rpm related? 25-25 is too slow to be tires unbalanced. Does this happen while reving out in first gear. Or is it the same rather you rev it out or pull through that same speed in second? Do any strange noises accompany it? Is your car in a good state of tune (engine)?
There are a lot of possibilities here.

more than likley its tire out of balance or tire seperation
probably not a major moving or suspension part

car is a 97 gsr.
engine is in good tune. happens in second gear. but if i accelerate very slowly in second i dont notice it. i have tried it in third too and it vibrates. not sure if it vibrates in first.
wheels are not bent.
could it be related to wheel bearings?

Possibly bad motor mounts. I had a similar problem on my 97 GSR with the motor mounts. I replaced them with urethane engine and tranny mounts, and my problem was solved.

i just put in energy suspension polyurethane motor mounts (the fronts, i havent done the rear yet). the vibration problem happened before and after i installed the mounts...havent looked at my rear mount yet so it may be in bad shape.

my front wheel bearings were making noise so i had them replaced. and it seems that this has gotten rid of my vibration problems as well!
