Well, remove the spark plug cover if you have it, remove spark plug wires, then proceed to loosen the nuts on the cover in a cross-hatch fashion so you don't cause anything to warp, then once all nuts are off pull up.

don't forget to put gasket sealant on the corners of the rounded parts of the gasket.
