Just got an oil and filter change and thermostat replaced. I have been having a weird problem for a while now that I think may only get worse. When I drive, I get this weird lag when pressing on the gas pedal from a stop. The engine responds to my foot pressing on the gas and the car begins to move, but it has this low, weak sound for maybe a second or two and doesn't move as well, and then the engine kicks in as normal. It happens a lot more when I am making a left turn from a stop, as the engine will usually lag almost half the turn. I notice if I hit the gas harder it lags less. When I accelerate, I keep my foot steady on the pedal. If anyone has any suggestions I would be happy to try them out. I am in no way an expert with cars, only with computers
