Re: trap speed in gsr (Chris)
I have seen 89 - 95 mph out of a stock gsr. Depends on driver and track conditions. 93 mph is good enough for a mid to low 14 if you know how to drive on slicks. I drove my gsr to a 14.3 at 93 trap with a 2.0 60ft on slicks. I have run better traps and better times but this is just an example.

Re: trap speed in gsr (SupersonicBlueGSR)
Trap speed can tell you how fast you could go with a perfect 60 foot time. But the 60 foot time will make/break your run. You could be trapping 94 and run a 14.2-14.3 with a 1.9-2.0 60 foot on slicks, or you could run a 15.2-15.4 with a 2.6 60 foot on shitty stock michelins or worse tires and a bad launch.

Re: trap speed in gsr (junglistgsr)
I ran a 15.9 @ 90mph but again I have automatic so my 60's were at best 2.734 (which could be gotten down to probably 2.6 MABYE 2.5 on the best day and skill possible)

Re: trap speed in gsr (94goldjungsr)
I only pulled a 2.3 on drag radials, but they were brand new and the track ***** wouldnt let imports use the waterbox, so they were cold. They didn't hook for **** on the nitrous...I dumped it from 5k, they hooked, hit the nitrous and didn't hook up until top of 2nd gear

Thats what I was thinking too :D 120 is like throwing a T60 turbo in and boosting 10psi out of the box.... sure you got ***** to the walls power.. but for how long until she pops :/

Re: trap speed in gsr (shadowdawn)
I have a good friend running a 125 shot plate kit on his stock block GSR for over two years, about a bottle or so a week. Still blows 220s on compression tests. Its all in the tuning, many people have misconceptions about nitrous and forced induction usage. And that does count, nitrous isn't cheating. Can you explain how it is??
