tranny shudders
My tranny seems to shudder/shake, sometimes violently, when I release the clutch to engage it into 1st gear. This happens in the morning, or when the car is cold (sitting around for a long time).
Once the car gets warmed up, the problem goes away.
My car is a 94 GSR w/ ~195,000 km.
H-T Ph.D. fellas, what's my problem?

Re: tranny shudders (mattymatt)
Mine cold chattered for a few thousand miles before I replaced it. It still had material left, with about 2mm to 3mm to spare before hitting the rivets.

Re: tranny shudders (IN VTEC)
Could just be your flywheel getting to be a bit uneven for some reason. Get it opened up, resurfaced, and while you're in, toss in a sport clutch n maybe a lightweight flywheel !!
