Tranny Removal

Tranny Removal
I have a few questions regarding the tranny removal to replace the clutch.
1. How many 17mm bolts must you remove from the tranny to the block?
2. Do you have to remove the rear engine mount?
3. If so then why?
4. Some manuals (b16a w/ cable tranny) say to remove the distributer...do I have to do this?
5. Do you have to remove the intermediate shaft?
Car is a 93 civic w/ b18c1

Re: Tranny Removal (jovial111)
I'd say (6) 17mm bolts and (2) 14mm bolts to actually get the casing to separate.
You have to remove the rear mount b/c there are (2) 19mm bolts that secure the tranny to the rear mount from the engine-side, and then a 17mm from the tranny-side that goes into the rear mount.
You don't have to remove the distributor.
Even if you really don't have to remove the int. shaft, you should anyways. It's easier that way.
