Starting with HIGH RPMS
Hi, I was wondering if you guys could tell me why my car starts up at nearly 2500 rpms. Takes a "while" to heat up in order to go down to 1000 rpms. The engine is a GSR and it's supercharged, I don't know if that is a contributing factor.
Is this normal or is something wrong and is it hurting my engine cause... 2500 is when I'm driving in another car, lol.

I would check for loose vacuum line first, and if you are using an aftermarket ECU, I would check there next.
If its just idling high and it drops down later, it should hurt the engine..just a waste of gas though. And 1000rpm for idle is a bit high too, 700-900 is about the norm. Again, check your vacuum lines, most likely something popped off.

it's your fast idle thermo valve. Here's the link to do this procedure: https://honda-tech.com/forums/acura-integra-6/%2A%2A%2A-how-%2A%2A%2A-clean-your-fitv-aka-fast-idle-thermo-valve-1564019/
