thermostat on 95 integra ls?

thermostat on 95 integra ls?
i can find the damn thermostat on my 95 integra ls auto. block says b18b1.i got it less than two weeks ago so im a def. noob at this.auto zone and a mechanic couldnt find it. we looked in the area circled but wasnt there.and the thermo housing wasnt circled, it was square-ish. oh and is the b18b1 the stock engine for these cars?

back behind and below the distributor at the lower radiator hose.
I'm guessing that's not your car, since that's a turbo Civic. Yes the B18B1 came in Integra LS's, but the valve cover in the pic above is from a 96-01 OBD2 B18B1 engine.

yea i took pics of my car and circled where i looked for it but couldnt find it. and as you can see the "thermo housing" is as wide as two of my fingers

i can't believe an autozone guy and a "mechanic" didn't know that 99% of thermostats are at the lower radiator hose's connection at the block. thats pretty sad...
