Yup it's running well, good pickup, no smoke, purrs like a kitten. I'm still waiting to see what the gas mileage is

i believe the VC is painted Honda marine blue. last used on Honda outboard boat motors in like 84 or 85

might have been 74 or 75 But it's not used any more ether way.

You're right! lol I put it on the wrong nut. The valve cover is the color he wanted it

haha I had my valve cover painted blue like this initially. I liked it. It's not having any ground problems, but I'll swap the ground over a bolt regardless

first off it is the color he wants so it's not a big deal.
unless you painted the VC or the OP post the exact color you don't know for sure.
Not saying your wrong just pointing out the facts.

second the three big domestic auto makers all ran a shade of blue and 90% of veteran auto painters can't even tell witch one is witch when there side by side
ford also ran 2 different colors of blue over the years.
and the old honda outboard boat motors had blue painted Power heads (IE the Engine)

and third I doubt the pix were taken with a High end camera that was white balanced to the light source and shooting in Raw format.

so to say it IS ford blue would be the same as saying 91 Teg has a b18c1 just by looking at the gas cap.

this is why I said I believed it was honda marine blue.

i worked at a marina for about 3 years and fixed alot of honda outboard motors

LOL I didn't know the blue would cause such havok with you guys It was sprayed with High Temp Enamel from Pepboys - I don't know if the paint can said Ford Blue, or Marine outboard Honda blue, or just simply "Blue"
