Stock 95 GS-R value?
I found a stock 95 GS-R and I'm wondering what I should offer for it. I've previously never had a Honda project (always done turbo eclipse and evo), but I wanted to try something different. Been looking around for a few weeks now and find a stock 95. Owner says only thing that's been changed is wheels and shocks. all works 100% with no issues. Has 227k miles on it. Owner asking $3900. I haven't seen it in person yet but considering everything is good.... Is that a decent price?
What do you think?
Thx

Wow $4k for 230k mile gsr?
I swear I saw one the other day for $1300 with just the same mileage in same condition here in CA.
I should've bought it and cashed out on it.
I have seen these with low mileage for anout $4k.
I guess it depends on your location to see if its a good deal or not.
Is this the only gsr around you?

Re: Stock 95 GS-R value?
I went to check it out today. It's real solid. Everything works. It had been raining real hard for hours this morning and there wasnt any leaks inside the car. Car runs hard shifts good chirps the 1-2 shift like it should. The only even slightest thing was that there was 2 different times that the sync rows grinded once on a downshift and one on a high rev shift (different gears) but every other bit of the 30mins of drive time I got with it was solid as could be. Car wasn't rattling and it felt solid. I bought it for $3000

I drive 180+ miles for this one. There's literally like 5 gsr for sale (that I could find) within a couple hundred mile distance from me (a lot more LS, just very few GSR). And they're all projects or multi-owner projects where the current owner can't even tell me what's been done to the car. The few nice gsr that are around; they aren't for sell.

Good price for a clean GSR, congrats, I bought a stock 2000 LS with 240k miles for 1k, only flaw is the paint but other than that it's good and stock.

Wow. 1k for clean LS 2000?
I was going to ask if 3k is a good price for a 98 GS sedan manual 1 owner car with 235k miles. Everything original with clean engine. some clear is fainting but can be re clear.

Re: Stock 95 GS-R value?
I think if it's a solid car, strait body, good motor/trans, and everything works... Then 3k is a decent price. In my area though non-gsr's were much easier to find and closer to 2k. I'm VERY happy with my stock GS-R at $3k and I would have paid more. Trust me too I looked for 3 weeks up to 500 miles away and I'm real happy with what i got at the price I got it.

I can find clean LS for $1k-$1500 all day here.
Who needs one for $3k?
The best LS I ever bought was a '94 coupe. 150k miles, $900. Purred like a kitten. One 1/4 panel was beat up but after a few hours, it was a clean, really solid car. The interior was about a 9.5/10.

After the varying opinions on price it's very obvious it's such a regional question. I'm sure there are a lot more Integras on the west coast and elsewhere that would bring the price down. In my area there aren't many. Heck there are only two Acura dealerships in my entire State!

^ Exactly. People always feel the need to put peoples purchases down in one way or another. Clearly you got a good deal in the area and the reality in any part of North America at this point finding an integra in that condition let alone a gsr is not by any means common. Feel good about the purchase and don't let people bring you down.

Re: Stock 95 GS-R value?
Exactly. This things cleaning up real nice too. I've just been doing maintainance. Oil pans starting to leak some and I discovered rain will leaking into the spare tire well from somewhere. Oh and driver window switch getting loose and need replaced soon. But all and all that's it.
I'm trying real hard to focus on a very mild all-motor "tune-up" let's call it. My last 4 sports cars have all been turbo mitsubishi's, and it's so tempting to just put a turbo on this thing at like 8psi and call it done. 300whp would be perfect fun for this baby. But really I'm trying to experience something new with a Honda and id also love like 180-200 whp all motor. Just did a compression test today and was between 226-230 on all 4 cylinders so that's decent. I really want to try all motor but the thought of getting like 5-10hp per mod is painful! I took the intake resonator off yesterday; sounds sooo nice. Love the 5700rpm intake opening up!
Here's my last ride I sold 3 years ago.
Right under 700awhp on 93oct pump gas. Always gotta keep it classy👍🏼

Re: Stock 95 GS-R value?
Real nice man! It is definitely possible.
This is a b18c5 with a jdm header, intake, exhaust, some other very basic mods and hondata s300. That dyno day I witnessed several type r's and other b series combos with all sorts of header/intake combos and this one made by far the best power and torque curve. Kenny Sampson pointed out often the most tried and simple setups yield the best results. Also this dyno reads low. Some hearts were definitely crushed lol.

Re: Stock 95 GS-R value?
$3k not bad for un molested. I just recently picked one up myself. It's an 01 with 115k came with d2 coilovers and just had timing let and waterpump services and minor body damage on the front fender and hood. But the rest of the body is in good condition. I also paid $3k. I'm in ny where these things are in high demand.

Heck ya man that's nice. I don't care where ppl live. At this point with these cars being anywhere from 15-22 years old, it's real nice to find one that's unmolested. I'd gladly pay extra for them too

Re: Stock 95 GS-R value?
Nice find! I just picked up this 94 LS for $1600. Bent valve 274k miles but the chassis is super clean. Some bolts have rust but the chassis is not rusted or rotted been garaged and adult owned for 22 years and completely unmolested.
Your water in the trunk is coming in through the top side of your tail light the seals there suck. Good luck on your modding i have already been bit by the bug hahaha.

Yes porta it was to you.
Is it crazy how the market changes from location.
is that a good deal for that car in your are ghost?
backroad, it is always nice finding un-touched cars. You know everything that will be done to the car if ever modded.
