my 97..
Alright, first off this is my first post so I'll just explain my situation. I am 18 years old, currently working full time until september, which I'm off to college for auto.
I currently have a 97 anniversary edition Integra which is in need of some work...
-I have a third gear bypass in my transmission (third slips ..)
-and I have no compression in one of the clyinders..
-Car also has 390k on it (suprisingly the body is in great condition minus very little surface rust, which I can take care off..)
Car was a gift from my father, (passed down, was his old car) but it does need work, which he said he will pay for. Before I was planning to sell this car and buy a 93-95+ nissan 240sx kouki/zenki (kouki preferably, sr or rb powered) or a 98-99 subaru 2.5RS and convert it to a 93 JSPEC gc8, but my buyer backed out.
So I'm going to keep this car, but instead of rebuilding the car I'm going to consider a b18c1 full swap which will cost me $2000-3300(not including labour)(JDM toronto prices the engine at $2130..yes canadian)
currently have a b18a1 I believe (non vtech).. so I was just wondering if people have done this swap before? after this and body work, the car will run and look practically new. Here are some pictures of my integra:
-edit quality of pictures are garbage because I used my camera phone

Re: my 97..
I was looking also for a trany, but for a full swap at JDM toronto it's 3300, which I do not want to spend... would any Integra 5sp trany work with my b18c1 engine?

If you're looking for a full swap on a budget, I have an LS VTEC for sale which I just built. I bought a J swap so I'm selling my full setup which is currently in my Integra. I'm looking to get rid of it fast, $1500 for everything. I live in Hamilton let me know if you're interested.
