squeaky clutch
hey,
last night i started noticing some weird stuff with my clutch. first, whenever i disengage (put pedal down) there's a clicking noise that sounds like it's coming from just behind the pedal (in the engine bay). i'm not too worried about that, but the other thing is when i engage (let the pedal out) slowly, it creaks. at first i thought it might just be a spring behind the pedal or something, but i got out and had somebody else do it and i could hear that it was coming from the passenger side of the engine... right by the transmission. this worried me a little bit, so if anybody could tell me what it might be that would be great... thanks!

Re: squeaky clutch (zomart)
Hydraulic clutch??
Take off the rubber boot at the clutch slave cylinder. There's a ball & socket where the slave piston rod pushes against the throw-out fork. Grease that. Grease inside the small rubber boot around the slave piston rod.
I've been trying that and mine still creaks. Maybe we can figure out how to get some grease in the ball & socket where the throw-out fork pivots. I'm too lazy to take the transmission off just to grease the inside end of the throw-out fork.
