squeak coming from car, Help please!
When I start driving my teg I occasionally hear a squeak coming from the car. It's not a belt squeal or suspension squeak, it's rotating. I figure it could be the brake pads but they are new (6 months old) as are the rotors. What can cause this kind of noise while driving? Some common issues of what to look at would be appreciated.

Thats a good one! happened to me plenty of times usually after a brake pad change. Could be wheel bearings going bad they are known to go bad and squeek. Axles would be next, check for ripped axle boots or could be a internal trans issue, Does it make the sound in nuetral and or at all times rolling, maybe you could rol down a hill and shut the engine off and see if the sound goes away to determain if its engine/trans related.

Axles are new, brake shield i'll check. I suspected it could be something like that. It only happens when moving. That's a good idea on the hill. I'll report back in a couple days or a week hopefully with an answer.

Brake hardware kit could be rubbing up against the rotor. I slide mine about 4mm away/as far way from the rotor as I could, and applied the pink CRC brake disc quiet on/around the brake hardware kit. One of the few parts I'd get from the dealership.
