Smoke from Turn Signal!?!?!?
Hey I does anybody know of a reason why there would be smoke coming from my steering column where my turn signal is? No aftermarket gauges or alarm. I turned the heater on one day and it started to smoke now my heater does not blow air at all plz help need fixed before christmas lol. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. BTW its a 1990 Acura Integra.

Possibly a shorted wire going to the fan? Does any air come out of your vents at all? Like, does the A/C blow air but the heat doesn't? If it doesn't blow air at all, then a wire going to the fan might have shorted out which caused the smoke... this is all I can think of right now. Hope it helps!

after you take the plastics off. smell around you should be able to smell a funny smell. and possible look for something thats bunt. and you may be able to figure out what burned by finding out what doesnt work anymore. because once you let the smoke out of something it normally doesnt tend to work anymore.
