Shake in Idle when AC is on
hey I've a 91 DA and it just started recently shaking in idle when the AC is on. The shake isnt excessively bad but it's something I want to fix. What would cause this? As soon as I give it gas, and the rpms raise, the shake goes away. And it only shakes when the AC is on! I know JACK about AC and I'm barely getting in hondas now.
Help?

It's normal.
It's the compressor kicking in when you push the A/C button. Inside the compressor, there are little pistons moving up and down.
Which is most likely causing this issue.

Re: Shake in Idle when AC is on
It's the A/C compressor putting a load on the engine, causing it to run a little rough. It's normal on an older car. My '95 GSR does it. It got really bad after I put in solid mounts.
