My question is the bottom pulley needs to be on the white mark or the red mark?

Re: timing mark question
with cams in up position, there are also 2 little indent lines on the left and right side of the cam gear, on both cams these need to line up with the top of the head, where the valve cover sits. NOT POINTING TOWARDS EACH OTHER.

Yeah I know those marks on each cam they need to be together like that -- but what about the button one with out taking it off needs to be on the red or the white when I put the timing light?

Re: timing mark question
also, i would not trust the crank pulley lining up with a plastic cover. they warp over time. pull the cover and make sure the timing gear matches with the mark on the oil pump.
when doing ignition timing on a standard timing gun, you shoot for the middle of the 3 marks (not the single white one). (after you jump the service connector).
