Default Removing the Weather Gaskets

I don't really know what they are called, but I'm tinting the windows of my car myself and need to remove the plastic "weather <something>" (gaskets or something.) It's just the plastic that is edged along the edges of the window. How do I remove these? Can I simply get them out by using a screwdriver and pry them out and "stick them back" when I'm done? How does it work?

Edit: "Weather strip?"
