Radiator fan is making a loud screeching noise
Typically my radiator fan stays off, but both fans start spinning when I turn on the A/C. The noise seems to be coming from the larger radiator fan, not the smaller condenser fan. The noise is loud and the best way I can describe it is "screeching".
Is it safe to spray some lubricant where the fins attach to the motor? Silicone lubricant or something else? Thanks in advance.

Fan motor bearings are most likely shot. Same thing happened on my car. I just replaced the radiator fan w/ one from another user on here.
Just curious, if you're driving along with no A/C, does the fan come on and start making noise when you apply the brakes and come to a stop, then cut off when you start going again? That's what mine did, in addition to the noise with the A/C on.
