problem since i got itr swap.. input needed!!
Well about a month ago my dream finally came true, I went from my auto LS to a complete JDM ITR changeover. Lately once in a while while I am driving and I down shift it stalls on me. I consider this a pretty serious problem because it's not like it is happening when I am at a complete stop. Earlier today I downshifted from third to second to take a turn and it just cut off on me, thank god no one was behind me. When I downshift it never goes to extremely high rpms, it's not like I'm pushing it, and they are never too low either so it's not like i'm STALLING from too low of rpms..
What should i check for? Has anyone else had this problem? I checked my oil level, it is fine, and I have a full tank of gas as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

not when I'm driving normally. But when I stall I think its the oil light and the engine light that come on.

if your oil light comes on when it happens...i suggest you pull the code..and stop driving the car

because an oil light means your oil pressure dropped dangerously low or you have a faulty sensor, i dont think its a faulty sensor in your case since it does it with a cel and only at a predicted certain time...know what an engine looks like thats been starved of oil? Wanna find out???

when the car stalls out wouldnt the check engine light, and the oil light be on anyway? since the key is still in the "on" position?

ever since i got the swap my sound system has been cutting in and out.. do you think they possible messed with the wires in the bay and that could be causing a problem if they all werent connected back correctly? kind of pisses me off because they had no reason to be touching those wires.

doublecheck your grounds...main one is on the thermostat housing. if your sound system starting acting up since the swap then it is definitely an electrical problem. same thing happened to my swap. cleaned the thermostat housing with sandpaper to make a good contact and everything was perfect.

yes mos def sounds like a electrical problem, shortage at one point or bad grounds definately.

Check the oil levels again. I had a similar problem before I got my swap with my GSR motor. If the oil got even a quart or so low and I hung a corner hard the oil pressure would drop and the motor would cut out of vtec.
