2000 GSR passenger door won't open

the driver side and trunk opens no problems. however the passenger door will not open. when I unlock the doors, it sounds as if it is unlocking the doors, but when I try to pull the handle, either from the outside or inside the car, the door will not open.

please help.

you can't open it from the inside or out?!?... that sucks... sounds like the link mechanism got fugged up on the inside

i just asked the same question only it was my driver side door, it is the actuator on the lock that is not opening the locking mechanism

Well, you have to somehow access the locking mechanism. Do you know how to remove the door panel? Do that, and then you can have a pretty good look inside. It's probably something stupid if your car is so new. A pull bar probably fell off a mount somewhere and isn't pulling on the mechanism correctly.
