Default P1336 code! Please help

Hello all. New to the boards so whats up to all. Hoping you all can help me out. My wifes 2000 integra LS sedan is throwing a CEL P1336 code (manufacturer controlled ignition system or misfire) and i cant figure it out. I just changed oil, spark plugs, wires, cap & rotor and cleaned the CAI air filter. I cleared the code and ran the car for about 30 min and the code did not come back. Today i go to start the car and the damn code shows up again. What else should i be looking at? Car runs fine and starts fine. I dont want the car to crap out on her on the freeway so i need your help. Thanks.

Not sure this helps you narrow it down but here is what this code is about:
P1336 Engine Speed (RPM) Fluctuation Sensor Intermittent Interruption

Sounds like one of the sensors (possibly inside the dizzy) is going bad on you.

OK but when i scanned it, it came up with manufacturer controlled ignition system or misfire. I thought these two errors were different from each other. If it is the sensor your talking about, is it easy to replace? Thanks

If it's the igniter inside the dizzy it is not hard , it depends on what it is really. Buy a Helms manual and it should walk you through the test steps.
