Default overheating need help ASAP

hey guys i just put turbo on my car ....now im over heating pretty bad.... my fans do kick on ... when i turn on my heater blower it just blows cold air and not any hot air.... is it my thermostat that is staying closed and not opening up to recirculate the coolant to cool it down ??? both top and bottom radiator hoses are hot that leads me to believe that the water pump is still working ....the heater will eventually blow hot air for only a min or two just enough so the temp goes down below half way but then it starts to over heat... i think the thermostat is just opening at a super high temp instead of the normal temp its supposed ... tell me if im wrong ...

I would start with the thermostat, you can check it by removing it and place it in a pot and start boiling the water, have a cooking thermometer and watch for it to open when it reaches the temp in which it should open ?180', or just replace it. Could also be temperature sending switch. Good Luck!

Definately start with a thermostat, it's cheap and pretty quick.
