Default car stalls then some liquid puring out from inside of muffler???

well i was driving today...nice day about 40 degrees...

i pull into a parking spot then put in reverse to get out and the car stalls...im like wtf...so i try to start it and it wont start...turns over but doesnt start...so i let sit try again starts but stalls right away so i wait try to start it again and it starts....
so i park i go to police station to pay parkin ticket...

come out after 5 min tops
and theres a puddle about 3 basketball sied under my muffler... im like what the hell. it was dripping from a tiny hole on the bottom of my muffler...(not the exhaust tips but the muffler) it looked like it was just very dirty water...it smeeled pertty bad not really sure what...but had same smell as the white smoke im blowing...and it has never leaked water from muffler from what i could tell.

my car started fine after that but why was it dripping liquid...why so much...why did it stall...and what was it...? also now seems so be running worse...can hear loud exhaust rattel sometimes...seems a bit slower then before, and is making some weird noises from engine area.

also i have had a bunch of other problems like loss of power..with new motor. excessive coolent use...etc i posted maybe something is related..

https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=406784

*and i just let car sit for 30 min...went outside...NO WATER at all...started car let sit for 5 min driped a little puddle like 5-6in around...

You have a blown head gasket, Check your oil. If it looks like a vanilla milk shake it is definatly the head gasket.

white smoke from tail pipe = coolant in system..

check head gasket.

Running rich is black smoke, he gets white smoke and coolent loss. Its a head gasket.

rich mixture would cause the car to have black smoke, not white.

black smoke = rich fuel mixture
white smoke = water in cylinders
blue smoke = burning oil

this is a pretty set-in-stone thing here.

So if this is a blown head gasket, how much does it cost to fix?

THanks alot guys i figured it was headgasket...but it onyl has 700 miles so im pissed
would a blown headgasket let that much water go t hrough the cylinders into exhaust?

also would that make my plugs be completely white...afte ronly 700 miles...and they were also completely dry...

and this would also cause my hesisitation, bog, and loss of power right?

oh at its usually $60 for a headgasket but if u take it to a shop they will charge a good bit for labor...

thanks guys

The labor is where they get you at, it's a lot of work...

well the headgasket itself will only be around 60 dollars from inlinefour.com. Its the labor that will kill you. IF you can do it yourself you will save alot of money!

sounds like a blown head gasket to me too.... my friends car does that (white smoke) especially on morning/the first start up....and it consumes coolant/loses coolant (no leaks) too.. the coolant reservoir is dry even though he fills/checks it weekly but its such an old car (2nd gen LS w/ like 180K) that he doesn't care...

he got a quote to fix it at a shop and it is A LOT of labor.. the quote was over a thousand so he just said he's going to drive it until it dies and get a new car cuz he doesn't wan't to spend over a G on such an old car.. and he didn't pay anything for the car (it was handed down) so he doesn't want to put any money into it...

anyway the head gasket itself shouldn't cost much.. its the labor because they have to take the engine apart...

is there oil in your coolant and coolant in your oil?
