Oiling Filter???? Need some info...
I've heard that you are supposed to oil the air filter on your intake before you put it on...is this true? If so, how exactly do i go about it? I figured i should check it out since I already put mine on...I don't want to screw my engine up. Thanks in advance for the info.

yup. your air filter should be oiled to prevent debris from penetrating the filter. i know that K&N and some "foam" filters provide an oil to be used with their filters....

Most intake filter (the ones with the steel mesh folded around the filter) uses the K&N oil. Just spray evenly around and let it soak in for about 5 minutes and you are set. Here is a pic of one:
The other filter would be the foam ones which looks like a foam on a stick, they uses foam oil only.
