Default newb question

GSR head on an LS block... do i need an LS header or a GSR header, or will it matter?

my question is will length be different for some odd reason, or will the header sit closer to the oil pan. Also are the exhaust ports on a GSR header higher up or lower down than that of an LS?

sure a b16 header might bolt up to a b18b head but the lil bracket will rub up against the oil pan, wont it?

The GSr are headers are typically shorter than the LS header, if possible step up to at least a stock Si header, or if you feel like cutting and rewelding the flange, an itr header

Header/Exhaust Interchangeable for these years

1994-2001 RS/LS/GS
1997-2001 Type-R
2000-2001 gs-r

The only model that ahs different lenght header/catback are the ones below:
1994-1999 GS-R

Whichever VTec head you go with, get a header from that model/year.

94-99 GS-R headers are 4.5" shorter than all other Integra headers. The 00-01 GS-R headers were changed slightly to be the standard length.

blah. i Wouldn't worry about it..anyways.. I've got a JDM 4-1 header and the header is touching the block where it seperates the oil pan. It fits, but it's alittle to close for me.. btw, i wrapped my header so hopefully that'll help alittle bit.

btw- the forums looks great! I like the way the website looks.
