Default New Honda Integra user

Hi all,
im from pakistan and a new member here, i just bought a 1988 Teg with a D16a2 (1.6 DOHC PGM-FI) engine. this is a EDM model of 88'Teg which has fogs in tails too.
Before this i use to have Daihatsu Charade GTti 1.0ltr turbo charged 100bhp stock car. my car had FPR,intake,2.5" downpipe with free flow 2.5" till the xhust, a bleed valve , a fuel cut defender,BOV, platinum bosh plugs and stuff i was running my car on 18psi of boost with a xtra injector setup and it was quite a fun i was gussing around 140bhp for my GTti.

but now i bought 88 Teg so that i can turbo it to xtract more power, this car has only 63000km on its gauge. and runs good.

what i want to know is which ecu does this car has? and from where can i pull the codes??

thanks

You will probably find more help at http://www.g1teg.org, not a lot of people on this board have much expertise with gen 1 integras.

The USDM 88-89 Integras used the D16A3, which is essentially the same as your D16A2 I assume. I think the USDM gen1 integras had a PG6 ecu, whereas the EDM version had a PR2. And I would assume you check the codes the same way as any other honda, use a paperclip and count blinks.

As for compresssion, the D16A3 is 9.5:1, bore=75, stroke=90, and 118bhp. I have seen d16a1(86-87), d16a3(88-89), but never a d16a2 though. I guess I haven't seen a lot of info on EDM motors for the G1. If it turns out the d16a2 is more similar to the d16a1, then hp=113 and comp is 9.3:1, bore and stroke are the same.

Rpizzle: Actually there are lots of Teg user G1, G2 here in pakistan. and u guys would be glad to hear that a couple of them are turboed.
I just got this G1 teg and im looking forward to turbo it, just bought a Nissan VQ27/VF27 oil+water cooled turbo for it and a small front mount intercooler.
i've already finishedup installing a smaller 3 core radiator and mounted a intercooler.

now i wanna know that do i need to increase oil pressure?? or i can run turbo on the same oil pressure?
one thing more what is the stock oil pressure for this engine?
