Default need help with stripped block!!!

im doin a b20vtec swap into my dc2, i got it all the way in and was bout to put the head on and one of the holes where the head bolts screw into the block is stripped out (ofcourse its the center one on the intake side....) but i tried putting a helicoil in it but it just sits there and spins down in it, is there nething to do bout this? has ne1had this problem? i need to kno how to fix it!!!

tht will def. wrk but they dnt reopen till january 4th,.... i need this on the road asap its my dd, is there nething else?

Can't you just drill and tap the head and block to the next size up?

well there is nothing saying you cannot drill and re-tap the hole to the next size, but you should have a machinist do that.. trust me you wouldn't want to mess up.

Helicoils are a good way to go too if you just want to replace the old thread with new thread of the same size, check them out:

the stock head bolts are 11mm i believe so you would be using somewhere in the 12mm range if you were to up the bolt to the next size
