Default Need help? Steering wheel shaking while driving at 60mph

When I drive past 60mph the steering wheel will start to shake. Anyone know what the problem is?

It may also be that your wheels need to be balanced. My other car used to have that problem @ 35mph and a balance took care of that.

A good wheel balance should take care of it.

tire pressure
balance wheels
alignment
anything stuck in your tire(s)
wheel bearings
make sure lugnuts are tight(happened to me once. not good.)

I also say tire balance. If not look into a good aligment.

Yeah. Wheel alignment, balance the tires. Does it get worse when you hit the brakes?
