Default My spark plugs are red

After running the GSR in an auto-X on Saturday I checked my motor out for wear. I was shocked when I pulled the spark plugs. Everything that resided in the combusion chamber - ground, electrode, insulation, etc looked like it was covered in brick dust. I've seen white, black, light brown, and grey, but never red. I dropped an LED down the spark plug hole and took a look inside. Everything looks normal - light brown to black. So it's just the plugs.

Can anybody diagnose this? The car runs great and pulled strong all day, and just passed smog with flying colors the day before.

Thanks,

what octane booster did you use? I use the LUCAS Octane Booster and that stuff does work.. I use it every once in a while.. but I can tell a little quicker pickup when its in my gas..

You do know that your engine runs off gas and not blood right?

Put up a picture so we can tell. Depends on what shade of color

Good call! My wife put 87 in it one day by accident and called me from the gas station. I told her to put some octane booster in it just for safe measure. She put in whatever they had at the station (I don't know). We never had any problems with knocking, so I guess the stuff worked.

My spark plugs always look normal when I pull them out, like this (except the #3 plug from when a little water got in there after pressure washing the engine):
